City of Whaler’s Bay, WA
The Parks & Community Services Department has issued the seasonal advisory for Meydenbauer Bay. Effective Oct. 12 through March 1, overnight moorage outside assigned berths is restricted, and shoreline access east of the pier closes at dusk.
As in previous years, the restrictions follow the winter moorage calendar. Residents should note that the Document Center holds no prior instance of this notice; the advisory text is supplied to the city each year.
Vessel owners who hear bells from the water after midnight during the restriction period should not attempt to locate the source. Note the time and report it to the Parks Department on the next business day using the non-emergency line.
Guest moorage reopens March 1, subject to the spring inspection.
